Getting Help
Seeking therapy for yourself, your child and/or family can be a tough decision to make. When seeking therapy, we are often going through struggle and are experiencing a lot of different emotions. I meet all my clients with care, compassion and respect and strive to make this process as comfortable as possible. I honor your values and your needs and believe a strong, safe relationship is the foundation for success in therapy. This decision has the potential to bring about real and positive change in your life. My ultimate goal for you is not only healing but setting you up to thrive as you move past therapy.

Stress
Is your child struggling with anxiety, emotion and behavior regulation, attention and focus, peer conflict or a major transition?
Is your teen experiencing mood swings or behavioral changes? Has your teen recently experienced a difficult transition? Are they having a tough time managing stress and life responsibilities?
Are you feeling overwhelmed, sad or anxious? More moody? Have difficulty with sleep? Trouble with focus? Struggles with relationships?
Do you feel that you are having a tough time resolving conflict at home? Are you struggling to connect and communicate with your child? Are you feeling lost with adapting to the changes in your teen?
My Approach
I believe that the most valuable aspect of promoting change through therapy is in the relationship between the therapist and client. I value each individual clients needs, experiences, values and wants. I see all clients from a place of strength and resiliency and strive to enhance these innate traits that we all possess. I believe strong in the mind-body connection and incorporate both behavioral and body-based interventions such EMDR, DBT, Somatic Therapy, CBT, Attachment-Focused Psychotherapy, Play Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. No client is the same and each client gets a unique treatment approach, designed collaboratively with me. Every client I work with is treated with empathy, respect and unconditional positive regard. Please contact me for your free 15-minute phone consultation to see if we would be a good fit.
